My name is Dalton McCoy, and I am the founder, and sole trader of the company. I am currently a student at

Queen's University and open to creative opportunities near and far. Currently, there is only me as a sole trader. However, Fading Moon Productions, as a company brand, can be use with my involvement as part of any collaborations.

Who am I and what do I do? What am I doing now?

I am an innovative and creative man with a dream of becoming a Filmmaker. I have been in college education for seven years, and building up my career overtime as a Motion Graphic designer.

Now that I am in university, that will give me opportunities to unlock my hidden potential as a filmmaker with freelance services, and personal projects.

Why do you create Fading Moon Productions?

The company's origins were done out of in need of a network, as it was founded during my Level 3 Media course. It was originally known as Cardinal Hill, and later Mirror-Rebel, until Fading Moon was named. Since then, I have made multiple projects under its name, as well of contributing on other projects, such as collaborative works in college works, and fulfilling clients briefs on Fiverr.

What is your company's message?

Fading Moon is a name derive from the idea of impact. Like how a large shadow casts on the moon in our logo, we want to make an ginormous impact in the industry. Our message carries home our focus on the idea and to deliver authentic quality: "If it shows, you know".

We want to put in the effort to make our productions possible, but we would also like to take the product into their fullest potential without "fading away" any details with compromises.

The beauty is what the shadow is covering, and in a ironic sense, we will display that beauty in our projects for all to see. So, if your project did show with a satisfied result, you know that it is in the curtesy from a company like Fading Moon Productions: films, graphic designs and other media-based projects.

Examples of Expertise

Below are the examples of proficiencies that I have obtain throughout several years of creating personal projects and collaborating with others.

Cinematographer and Photographer

I have utilise and create media and film products with both DSLR and SLR cameras.

Programme Editing

I use the editing software from Adobe (Premiere and After Effects) to finalise the film's production by compiling the film together.

Film Director

I have directed and produced personal projects like Branches and Baking in Brilliance.

Animator of

Motion Graphics

I am proficient with animation software, such as After Effects to complete animations involving vector shapes as subjects of storytelling.

Assistant Grip

I contribute my techniques of equipment towards other projects. Projects includes Obsidian Mind where I am responsible for my part with the cameraworks and lighting devices.

Actor

On the side of production, I fill myself as an actor in both the narrative and to include my input towards a questions in a documentary project.
